Mercedes is responsible for employee education, onboarding and professional development. She is focused on igniting the growth mindset of NetApp, fueling a culture of continuous learning leading to empowered, confident, and knowledgeable employees.

Mercedes champions strategic leadership and development programs in her communities, including broadening awareness and transforming the workplace through her leadership roles in NetApp’s Women in Technology (WIT) employee business resource group. A part of Silicon Valley innovation for over twenty years, she previously worked at HP, Xerox PARC, a grid computing startup.
